You have probably realized by now that here at PureNSM.com, we’re in the business of making the healthiest supplements around. For 16 years, we’ve made nutritional supplements that are safer, more pure, and more potent than our competitors. But what does this mean? What are we talking about when we say “Pure Supplements”? Is that just a sales pitch that companies use to attract unsuspecting consumers? Is it a meaningless tagline like “All Natural” or “World Famous”? For other companies, this is probably the case. For us, “Pure Supplements” is a motto we take pride in and it’s what differentiates us from everyone else.
Let’s take a look at some examples:
Nature Made is a manufacturer of supplements that you can find in most stores such as Costco and Walgreens. They make mineral, herbal, and vitamin supplements just like us. Let’s look at a product of theirs as an example: Calcium Tablets, 500 mg. On the front of the label, it claims that this supplement gives you Calcium and Vitamin D, two very popular materials in the supplement market. But wait, you’re also getting so much more! How about Maltodextrin, Cellulose, Soy Polysaccharide, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Cornstarch, and Polyethylene Glycol. Is this what consumers want? Is this what they’re paying money for? Is this healthy?
How about Wal-Greens brand Calcium 600 + D Tablets? You’re getting Calcium and Vitamin D. Also, you are getting a lot more than that: Try Croscarmellose Sodium, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Polyethylene Glycol, Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax, FD&C Yellow 6 Aluminum Lake (CI 15985). What is all this stuff?
I could list hundreds of more examples, but I don’t need to. Do your own research and look at the ingredients list on any nutritional supplement. Some will appall you with how much extra stuff is jammed into a supplement that most consumers probably don’t realize.
Now, let’s take a look at the Calcium Supplement we manufacture here at Nutritional Supplement Manufacturers, Inc. The ingredients include Calcium Citrate, Gelatin Capsules and… oh wait! There’s nothing else in the supplement! How odd is that?
Here’s why all other companies have a ton of other stuff in their supplements and why we don’t:
All the extra ingredients in supplements are added to lower costs for the manufacturer. These ingredients allow the material to flow better, encapsulate faster, preserve longer, look nicer, etc. Is this what the consumer cares about? NO! Most consumers will tell you that they couldn’t care less how a capsule looks or how it’s made, it’s the effect it gives. What a novel concept! These extra ingredients not only are not beneficial for the consumer, but most of the time they decrease the potency of the beneficial material in the supplement and block absorption in the body. Bottom line, manufacturers are saving money and consumers are getting an inferior product.
At Nutritional Supplement Manufacturers, we NEVER use anything else besides the main materials that the consumer wants to buy. If they want a Calcium supplement, we fill capsules with Calcium. If they want Vitamin B2, we fill capsules with Vitamin B2 and absolutely nothing else. It takes a little longer to produce and it creates a little more work for us, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Other companies will do anything to cut costs, but that’s not our goal. Quality is. As stated in the beginning, we make “Pure Supplements”. It’s not a sales pitch, it’s a promise.
