Liposomal / Nano Formulas

PureNSM specializes in creating high-quality liposomal liquid and powder. The liquid can then be flavored and bottled into 1oz to 32oz bottles or 0.5mL liquid sachets. The powder can be encapsulated using high-speed encapsulation machines or filled into sachets. You can provide your own formula or select from our suggested ingredients, listed below. Our technology can be applied to both hydrophilic and hydrophobic active ingredients, ensuring that your customers enjoy enhanced absorption, while you benefit from marketing cutting-edge liposomal products.

How We Boost Absorption and Marketability with Liposomal/Nano Liquid Emulsions:

  • Hydrophobic Actives: Our High-Pressure Homogenizer creates emulsions that suspend oil-based nutrients in water. This process controls particle sizes, improving absorption.
  • Hydrophilic Actives: We use water-in-oil reverse microemulsion using phosphatidylcholine together with the actives.
  • Converting emulsion to powder: We either use airdrying, freezedrying
  • Cyclodextrin: We offer cyclodextrin reactions with active ingredients

We’ll work closely with you to scale your liposomal formulas and deliver top-quality products suited to your goals and budget.

High Pressure Homogenizer

At NanoNSM, we only use the best quality tools to ensure your product is the purest, most pure, reliable, safest, and potent. We use a high-powered Microfluidizer (a High-Pressure Homogenizer) to create your Liposomal/Nano hydrophobic actives. Avoid micro-emulsions created with ultrasound since they pollute the product with titanium shedding.

Don't Use Ultrasonic Homogenizers!

When creating nano-sized particles, microfluidizers are a far superior choice compared to ultrasonic methods, particularly due to concerns about titanium shedding and product purity. Here’s why:

  1. Titanium Shedding: Ultrasonic wands, often made of titanium, can degrade over time due to the intense vibrations they emit. This degradation can cause tiny particles of titanium to shed into the product being processed. Such contamination not only compromises product quality but also raises significant safety concerns. Microfluidizers completely avoid this issue by relying on high-pressure forces without the need for vibrating metal components, ensuring a clean and uncontaminated output.
  2. Particle Size Uniformity: Microfluidizers produce highly uniform particles, which is essential for consistency and stability in nano-formulations. Ultrasonic methods, while effective in breaking down particles, often struggle to achieve the same level of uniformity.
  3. Efficiency: Microfluidizers employ precise pressure and shearing mechanisms to reduce particles to the desired size more efficiently. Ultrasonic methods, on the other hand, can require longer processing times and may still fail to provide the same level of control.
  4. Scalability: For larger production needs, microfluidizers are much more scalable. They handle increased volumes while maintaining consistent quality, unlike ultrasonic devices, which may encounter limitations in industrial-scale applications.
  5. Heat Generation: Ultrasonic processes can generate significant heat that may damage sensitive ingredients. Microfluidizers are designed to minimize heating during operation, better preserving the integrity of delicate active compounds.

By addressing key issues like titanium shedding and offering superior control, efficiency, and scalability, microfluidizers provide a safer, cleaner, and more reliable solution for creating nano-sized particles. This makes them the clear choice for high-quality and contamination-free production.

Why Nano?

Nanoemulsions significantly improve the speed and efficiency of nutrient absorption. These tiny particles bypass much of the digestive process, delivering nutrients directly to the bloodstream. This not only enhances the product’s effectiveness but also gives you a competitive edge in the market.

Our Liposomes are Built Better! 🤔 How?

Smaller is Better

The body naturally uses lipids to help absorb and transport nutrients, as they are a key component of cell membranes and play a role in various metabolic processes. When people consume lipids that are engineered using food-grade raw materials and high-pressure techniques, like those involving microfluidizers, it can significantly enhance nutrient uptake. These processes create tiny, uniform lipid particles that improve the bioavailability of nutrients, allowing them to be absorbed more efficiently into the bloodstream. This enhanced absorption can lead to better health outcomes by ensuring that the body receives the full benefit of the nutrients consumed.

Definitions:

Lets set the records straight!

Liposome

Liposomes are generally defined to be 100-1000 nanometers in diameter.

Nanoemulsions

Nanoemulsions are less than 100 nanometers.

Colloid Mixture

A colloid is a mixture that has particles ranging between 1 and 1000  nanometers in diameter, yet are still able to remain evenly distributed throughout the solution.

What is a Nano?

In the context of liposomal products, "nano" refers to the extremely small size of the particles involved, typically measured in nanometers. A nanometer is one-billionth of a meter. Nano-sized particles, such as those in nanoemulsions or liposomes, are designed to enhance the delivery and absorption of nutrients or active ingredients in the body. Their small size allows them to bypass certain digestive processes and be absorbed more efficiently into the bloodstream, improving the effectiveness of the product.
